Dental Assistants

Donnabel

Dental Assistant

First, I was a patient at East Madison Dental; then, I became an employee! From our front office, I get to interact daily with new and existing patients while learning about their lives and family history. While maintaining a level of professionalism, I can get to know them on a personal level and do my best to make them comfortable. East Madison Dental has an amazing array of doctors and staff. I gain not only knowledge from them but a family.

Recently, I took up after-work activities such as going to the gym and meal prepping. When I’m not at work, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I like to try new places, especially food and dessert venues, and I love fashion!

Registered Dental Assistant

I have been a Registered Dental Assistant working at East Madison Dental since 2018. I became a Certified Dental Assistant in 2004 when I graduated from Berdan Institute, where I studied Dental Assisting skills. Throughout my career, I have worked in Oral Surgery, General, and Cosmetic Dentistry. I have participated in volunteer work such as Give Kids a Smile Day and The Healthy Mouth Movement for Veterans. I feel grateful to be part of such a wonderful team of professionals who strive to advance patient care.

Things I love to do outside of work are painting, crafting, listening to music, outdoor activities like hiking, riding my bike, canoeing, kayaking, and snowboarding, snow tubing, and snowball fights in the cooler weather. Besides all that, I enjoy my job assisting in the dental field. I like to treat every patient like a friend, making them feel welcomed and comfortable. My goal is to help patients feel better about themselves by assisting them to achieve a happy, healthier smile.

Certified Dental Assistant

I fell in love with dentistry when I realized I could help others feel confident about their smile and enhance their self-esteem. I completed my Dental Assistant certification from Fortis Institute and completed an externship here at East Madison Dental in January 2020. After, I was given the opportunity to join this amazing team! I became a Certified Dental Assistant in 2021 and now working towards becoming a Registered Dental Assistant. Working alongside such devoted and skilled individuals only motivates and reminds me of why I decided to pursue a career in the dentistry field. I look forward to growing and acquiring new skills as I continue to help others regain confidence and show off their beautiful smiles.

Outside of work, I enjoy nature, sightseeing, hiking, and spending time with my loving family and my handsome cat, Kato. I also have a love for traveling and would consider myself a foodie!

I feel very blessed to be a member of Dr. Jain's incredible team here at East Madison Dental. I am excited to train as a dental assistant and become an RDA in the next few years. Working at East Madison Dental is challenging, rewarding, and fulfilling. I am working with an extraordinary, dedicated, professional, and compassionate team of coworkers that is more like a family. I am dedicated to helping make all our patients that I have the pleasure of assisting at their appointments feel relaxed, comfortable, and important.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband and three sons, going to church, spending time outdoors, learning new things, singing, gardening, and cooking.

Julie

Dental Assistant

I feel so honored and blessed with East Madison Dental to be given the opportunity of being part of the family and becoming a dental assistant. I have worked at the front desk for over ten years in many different fields, never for a dental office. They took the time to train me into something I never thought I would feel so passionate about. I also want to thank the whole staff for being so friendly, supportive, and understanding. I am so grateful because I have a job and a career I can grow to love.

When I am not at work, I love to spend time with my kids and husband, traveling and shopping.

Marcia

Dental Assistant

I am a foreign-trained dentist. I graduated in 2014 from Cayetano Heredia University - Peru. I practiced as a general dentist for six years before moving to the US. Currently, I’m in the process of getting my CDA/RDA credentials. As someone who practiced dentistry, I understand the diagnosis, treatments, and care a patient needs. As a dental assistant, I try my best to help the doctor in charge of every treatment step.

I am a mom of two dogs, and I love exploring new towns, trekking, and going out dancing. I also love cooking, and I believe that is the best way to show your love to others.
